Hologram - lvl 39 fire mage Emerald Dream. This is a video featuring some clips of my Blood Elf Fire Mage named "Hologram" from the guild Afterlife on Emerald Dream. He was level 39 during the footage (now level 70). A few notes about Hologram: For starters he is not a twink. At the time of this videos creation I didn't have the money to afford spell damage enchants on his pants or any of his gear. However, because I stacked stam items instead of all spell damage gear his survivability made him able to put out more damage in the standings than others as an end result. This is the opposite of a pure fire damage mage with all fire damage gear because they have next to no health & while they might be able to kill a lot faster they will also get killed a lot faster if put into the wrong predicament. Spending time at the spirit healer means you are not out killing. With that being said, this video wasn't created to show off massive critical hits because he wasn't created as a one-shot damage machine though he can be dangerous regardless on a nice pyroblast critical when it ignites. However, if you are here to see pyroblast after pyroblast then you are going to watch the wrong video. I like to pride myself in using a mages abilities to the full extent though I admit that at this time I was still learning and did use arcane explosion sometimes a bit much and also did not use my distance to its advantage as well as I do now (If you would like to see my progression and fine-tuning of my skills please see my level 70 PvP video). Lastly, at the end of the video I added in some screen shots of just a small handful of the times that he leads the list in Killing Blows and Damage Done (You can not quite see them in youtube if you watch the low quality video but if you watch high quality you can see it a bit better). Hologram came in first place in both of these categories in about 99% the matches I played at level 39 which I guess proves that severe twinking isn't always needed to compete. It also makes me want to roll another level 39 mage and twink the heck out of him now that I can afford it. I would make him undead this time though ;) Hope you enjoy my first PvP video.
