Descrição: it's this weird idea I have for an entirely electrical jet engine The first stage, though not really visible, is a thin wire mesh which is the anode to an electrohydrodynamic based propulsion system. The cathode is that weird circle that looks checkerboard. It then passes the air through a fan, which blows it into a compression chamber, which heats up the air, and then expels compressed air out the back.
