Descrição: The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's Annual 'Cotswolds Festival of Steam' Gala event was held over 2 weekends in May/June 2008 (24th, 25th, 26th, 31st May and 1st June). Me, GJDobbzy and theonlyadsrulz decided we would go on Saturday 24th May. Here is a video from our day out, featuring all the locomotives running on our visit, from the stations and from the lineside. This was the only day where 850 'Lord Nelson' ran, as she was withdrawn for the rest of the event due to firebox problems. The weather was sunny, but due to the strong winds, this made filming difficult, even when the camcorder was on the tripod, the tripod couldn't keep still, as you will see. Locomotives used during the day of our visit - - SR 4-6-0 LN Class 850 'Lord Nelson' - GWR 4-4-0 City Class 3440 'City of Truro' - GWR 2-6-2T Small Prairie Tank 4575 Class 5542, operating the Auto services with trailers 163 & 178. - GWR 0-6-2T Taffy Tank 56xx Class 5619 - BR(W) 4-6-0 Modified Hall 6959 Class 7903 'Foremarke Hall' - SR 4-6-2 West Country Class 34007 'Wadebridge' - BR 2-10-0 Standard Class 9 (9F) 92203 'Black Prince' in the state she appeared in at the end of her BR career in 1968. Also at the event, but not running on the day of our visit was LMS 0-6-0 4F 44422.
