Descrição: This is my "Fibromyalgia Coffee Break" for Monday, October 8, 2007. (Yes, I'm posting it on November 1st because it took me three weeks to finish editing it. I got a little carried away on the music montage at the end.) Anyway, the topic today was answering two questions from someone who wrote to me from the United Kingdom. She is currently housebound due to severe pain and fatigue from fibromyalgia. She wanted to know if her life will ever be normal again? Will she ever be active and healthy again? Will she ever surf again? Somehow, in the course of answering this question, I ended up telling the story of how I started surfing, and how I met my husband. (We met surfing.) So, those are today's topics, and it ends with a surfing montage, with footage from Hawaii. Enjoy! This is for Penny in the United Kingdom! Penny, I hope you feel better! Love, Diana in California P.S. No, we're not affected by the wildfires, as we are in the northern part of California, and we are in a different weather pattern. Our rainy season has already begun, ending the fire season for us. (We had one big fire last month that burned 50,000 acres in the next town, but then the rainy season started two weeks ago, with three days of soaking rain. Once the rainy season starts, the fire season ends.) But, we did have an impressive earthquake just two days ago. So, we're not without our excitement up here in the north. :)
